Dry November: Day 20

Another day, another lime and soda in the pub, discussing the admin aspects of publishing, and other things literary. Otherwise I’ve been thinking about how we shorten our own lives through inattention.

We might be moving soon, meaning I may be out of Angel for the first time in over a decade. I have mixed feelings about the possibility, mainly due to physical laziness and a mild anticipatory nostalgia, but overall it’s likely time.

In unrelated news, at the gym today I tested normal back squats, at a fairly light weight, after doing overhead squats since August. My depth is much improved, though my better shoulder flexibility mean that the bar tends to slip lower on my back. Overall the overhead work helped mobility a lot, though.
